Intro to the Design Center

The Content Builder Design Center is where all of your website building and editing happens. There are two main parts to the Design Center shown below:

  1. The Control Panel – In this sidebar you can add, remove, and reorder pages; edit global site styles such as page and navigation settings (see Pages and Page Settings); and control all of your site's colors and fonts (see Site Styles).
  2. The Canvas – This is the site editor which displays an editable preview of your website, where you can add and edit content directly on the pages of your site, including text, images, and videos (see Editing a Box).

All edits made in the Design Center are automatically saved as-you-go. To undo a deleted box on your page, open the Recycle Bin.

The width of the Control Panel can be adjusted by dragging the right border, and it can be closed entirely by clicking the Close button.

Above the Canvas are three Design Center buttons:

  1. Exit Design Center – This closes the Design Center and takes you back to the Main Menu of the Content Builder.
  2. Preview – This opens your site in a new browser tab for you to preview what you have created.
  3. Recycle Bin – This is where deleted content is stored. See The Recycle Bin for more information.
