Search MERLOT
The MERLOT repository is a database of metadata that describe 1) all the learning materials (including learning exercises), sometimes called learning objects, that have been contributed to the repository by MERLOT Members, and 2) the profiles of registered MERLOT Members.
MERLOT's search functions allow visitors to the MERLOT website, whether they are registered Members or not, to find information about the data stored in that database - learning materials and Members. There are many ways to search the repository for registered Members or for learning materials, using a simple keyword search or a more advanced Boolean or logical search. MERLOT also provides visitors with the ability to search Other Libraries outside of MERLOT.

- Advanced Material Search - search the MERLOT repository for learning materials
- Search Materials by ISBN - search the MERLOT repository for learning materials to supplement a textbook based on the ISBN number of that book
- View Discipline Index - the index by which MERLOT learning materials are categorized
- Advanced Member Search - search the MERLOT repository for registered Members
- Search Members by Country - use a world map tool to locate members by country
- Search Results as RSS - any search of the MERLOT repository can be saved and converted to an RSS feed
